Synopsis :
L’avocat Anton Adam (William Powell) est plus intéressé par sa carrière que par la justice, mais ses erreurs finissent par le rattraper lorsqu’il est victime d’un dangereux chantage. Pour se sortir d’affaire, il pourra compter sur sa fidèle et affectueuse secrétaire Olga (Joan Blondell).
